As part of a career change, I started a Master of Information Management in the middle of 2017. I soon heard of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) and joined for a student fee of $90, reasoning that it was worth trying for a year.

Even though I’ve just started on my new path, I’ve already learned so much and made connections outside of my postgraduate studies thanks to my ALIA membership. I’ll be renewing it this year…
